Here at Good Dog! K9 Obedience I believe that pet dogs should have good
manners. The five-week basic obedience class can be customized to meet your
needs, but typically includes the following:
Each weekly session lasts one hour with "after hours" meeting times scheduled
between 5PM & 8PM Monday through Thursday.
Lessons 1 - 4 take place in and around your home. Lesson 5 is typically a “field trip”
to a local shopping plaza, which helps your dog learn to work amid distractions.
You, as the dog owner, are incredibly important! Dogs learn best through daily
practice and repetition. What you learn each week in your instructor-led session will
be built upon in the next session. It is up to you to practice daily in between these
sessions so that your dog has the best chance to succeed. It only takes a few
minutes at a time that can easily be incorporated into your dog's every day life.
