Good Dog! K9 Obedience Services

All of our training takes place in the privacy and comfort of your home.  Why do we train your dog in your home?  Your dog lives with a family, in a home.  This is where he misbehaves most often so this is where dog behavior training is most effective.  Dogs learn by association. Good Dog! teaches your dog to listen in the home environment.  If he does not listen at home, he will not listen outside of your territory.

We offer the following services...

Basic Obedience - A customized program tailored just for you and your dog.  Commands are taught first where you need them most: At home.  One on one instruction ensures that you and your pet receives the attention needed.  Whether to get control of a larger dog or if you are starting out with a new puppy, you receive professional training using veterinarioun approved techniques.  Flexible training sessions enable you to train at your convenience and allows more family participation.  The program includes 5 sessions.  The first 4 are one-on-one, at your home.  The final session is held in a local public place to ensure complete control and the ability to interact properly around other animals and people.

Puppy Confidence Course - A three week course held in three different locations to introduce your new puppy to a variety of distractions that he will encounter as he grows.  The locations start on the quieter side and progress to louder, busier locations.  A variety of floor surfaces will also be introduced so your puppy will learn to follow you everywhere.

Problem Solving - Behavior problems are just an outlet for LACK OF communication skills between the dog and owner.  Dogs rarely come with instructions, and few dogs turn out to be great family dogs without some ground rules laid out.  With a little patience and practice, you could have a family pet you'll be proud of.

Behavior Rehabilitation - A customized program designed to help your dog overcome his reactivity issues and to help you, the owner, portray the confidence and guidance your dog is looking for in you.
